Carpal Tunnel Relief for Authors

Here are a few tips and exercises that may help:

  1. “Walk Around” Exercise - Stand facing a wall or door
  1. “Prayer Stretch” - Press your palms together just below your chin
  1. “Book Stretch” - Begin with the Prayer Stretch, only pretend you’re pressing against a book as you lower your hands toward the waistline.
  1. Futuro Wrist Stabilizers - These are leather, fabric, and metal guards that slip on over your hand and fasten with Velcro around your wrist.
